Wow, this has been quite a year for the Ark Valley High Rollers – losing some great skaters to a move or new job, and gaining a core group of dedicated A*#-kickers…. As of September 2013, we moved up in rankings to 127. Our own girls have done an amazing job leading the league in skills, focus and working together as a team, but we are trying to find a Coach to bring us to that next level of play.
So time to regroup, fix priorities and personal goals, and come back in 2014 bigger (okay maybe not bigger, we are after all a mountain-town league that prides its fitness!), better, smarter, faster and ready to skate…
See ya soon and check out this video below made by and narrated by our own Annita Hit-A Bitch and Nacho Sleeze, respectively!!!
We are having an End-of-the-Season, before our last bout against Crossroads City Chili Cook OFF on November 2, 2013 at Elevation Beer Co and we need you to cook your best crockpot of chili, compete against the best, and feed the fans!!
Contestants will prepare chili and have an opportunity to win some great prizes! The event runs from 4-6:00pm in the Elevation Parking Lot in Poncha Springs, and afterwards we will all head over to the Fairgrounds and watch the last Ark Valley High Rollers bout of the season.

Chaffee County Fairgrounds in Poncha Springs, CO
We are so excited to get the 10th Mountain Roller Dolls to Chaffee County again AND to showcase our newest players as the Dividers show how all the hard work at practice is going to play out on the track.
We hope our fans come out and cheer us on and then come join us! at the FUNdraiser After-party at Wallbangers where all the Ark Valley and 10th Mountain girls will be celebrating with some more friendly competition at Beer Pong and Corn Hole… team up with your favorite player to drink beer and win prizes, including a $50 GC for a Rafting trip at River Runners – something to look forward to for next season!!!
See the poster below for more details…
I’m beginning to think that our home teams create our biggest rivalry – the Hurt and the Bananas were bringing their best game to the track last Saturday night, and our newbies jammed their derby patooties off! Nail-biting to the end… at which the Nanners took the win, finally, 165-154. Look at this motley, lovable and amazing crew – and the next time we match up is our big end of the year Home Team Halloween Bash Championship – so make sure not to miss it!!!!
